DESCRIPTION A group of six astragali, ovicaprid knucklebones, together with six fragments that belong to at least two more bones, were found in the inner room. Only two of them have evidence of being worked. One (not worked, shown at lower left on the plates) has become green in parts as a result of contact with copper alloy. One of the worked examples is flattened on the lateral side (pl. 02 bottom row third from left); the other is flattened on all four sides (pls. 01 and 02 bottom right). Four of them are right, two left. |

CONTEXT These pieces were recovered from the burned debris above the heavily burned floor of the inner room. They were only recognized as objects in the course of post-excavation study of animal bones from the Palatial Complex. |
